Welcome to the new Cacti Documentation site!
The Cacti Manual and the Cacti Howto are the most complete areas of the site right now.
The API reference is being worked on, and the Plugins area may disappear.
It was decided by the Cacti Group that user accounts from the forum would not be transferred to the documentation system.
If you want to leave comments, use the contact pages or see 'not ready for prime time' documentation, you will have to sign up for a separate account for the documentation system.
The documentation system is based on Drupal , and we should be migrating to 5.x soon. This will mean that the API reference will disappear, but it will be replaced by a full version of Doxygen for all branches of the Cacti Subversion Repository.
Cacti version 0.8.6j has been released to address the security vulnerabilities that were discovered in Cacti's PHP-based poller. All users are urged to upgrade to this version or apply the security patches for either 0.8.6h or 0.8.6i.
